Song Choice

The Song I have decided to create a Music Video for is 'Icarus' by Bastille. The soundtrack is number 7 on the bands first studio Album, Bad Blood, which shot into the charts shortly after release. Alternative Rock is the genre of the chart newbies and so a lot of post-production will focus specifically on this genre. This research will enable me to uncover any conventions within the genre which I can reflect onto my own work. Below is a YouTube clip of the song, there is no original video which I believe places me at an advantage because there will be no temptation to copy.
